XS BLAST
(XML-SQL BLAST)

XS-BLAST will run a BLAST search based on NCBI BLAST and automatically store your results in a database. You can then recall all of your results from previous BLAST searches at any time.

Behind the scenes, our program parses the NCBI XML output of BLAST (the X in XS), and then stores the data in a SQL (the S in XS) relational database.

The results are displayed in a summary tabular form with links to the resulting alignment between your query sequence and the VBRC database hit.
